Why is my medical care that the insurance company is required to pay so slow to be approved and scheduled?

I have been handling injured workers claims for 41 years as Leslie just stated. It amazes me every day how slow the process is for my injured workers clients is to receive approval for their medical care by the workers' compensation system.

In job injury cases the injured workers must get approval from the insurance adjuster prior to scheduling a doctor visit or a diagnostic testing appointment. The insurance company with their adjusters control your medical care. Just look at the panel of physicians. Here is a copy again of the panel of doctors. You do have the right to change the doctors as long as you pick another doctor listed on the panel of doctors. You cannot see a doctor until the examination is approved by the insurance company.
